This is just an important reminder that your 'Take Our Kids to Work' consent forms must be signed and returned to the Career Center BOX at the office by Monday October 31st!!!
This does not leave you much time! Ensure you talk to your parents about it tonight so they have time to consult their employers or employer's of their friends/relatives. I know this is fast so you have to be organized and get on it! Don't forget you can also pair up with a friend and go to their workplace as long as you have permission. This is an all day event and a small assignment package must be completed by Thursday November 3rd to fulfill your HACE 9 mark. It will be based on what you learn as you shadow someone at work.
If you do not, or are not able to, participate in this program, you will be expected to attend your regular class as usual and will work independently on a small career research project instead. It too must be completed by Thursday November 3rd to fulfill your HACE 9 mark.
Don't forget your consent forms! Get them signed and have a fun learning experience outside of school!!!
